Default Lets talk servo's

Considering BK servo's to replace my three Hitec 5245's on my cyclic.

Has anyone had luck fitting BK servo's into the frame? This would be an older E style frame.

Thank you.

Hitec 5245 Servo size = 32mm x 17mm x 31mm

BK DS-5001HV size = 36mm x 15mm x 35mm

It's close The hitec already have a TIGHT fit. I would require a few mm frame modification at least.

Any other idea's/servo recommendations? Cost is not an issue. Thanks.

I guess everyone is just running what Align supplies in the kits than huh?

Maybe I'll just buy another set of hitec's... they are good for what I do and are reliable. .

I'm about to install some Torq CL5180HV Cyclics & a BK 5005HV Rudder into my pro. Can't tell you how they will perform until in the air however they do fit.
The BK may need a small amount of Frame to be removed to allow the wide Motor to fit.

I have torq 5180's. My only complaint is sometimes one servo will fail to initialize, if I disconnect the battery and plug it back in everything works. And it's totally random witch servo will be affected. I believe it has something to do with the ar7200bx.Other than that they are drop in replacements.
