Default Something missing?

I'm a NooB and this my first post here so I'm sorry for my ignorance.

I got my MX450 XS a couple weeks ago. I am slowly buying all the stuff I need to complete it. I took it out and started working on it and noticed that the main blades were too thin for the blade grips, the blades are .200in and the grip is .350in.

The parts diagram shows a washer but there is nothing left in the box. The way the arrows are in the diagram, it looks to be packaged with the blades. Is this part of the blade? or Part of the helicopter?

Is a call to Great Planes in my future?

Another question. What do you use to balance your blades? I initially used tracking tape but it seems to use a lot of tape. Is there a better way?

watch finless's video on blade balancing. (hopefully this link will work)

as far as the blade roots being to thin. where did you buy the kit from? did you buy it new? I've never had a set of mx-400 blades be to thin for the blade grips. Align blades will be though and will require shims to fit in the blade grips.

Default washers

I put my mx450 together last week. The plastic bag the blades were in had a small bag inside with the bolt nuts and washers inside . If you look close at this pic you can see the 4 washers that go on each side of the blades.
I guess they just let them out by mistake in your kit.

Thanks!

Yeah the blades were in a bag like that. The bolts and nuts were in the small bag but no washers. I guess I'll call them tomorrow.
