JR XG11 DMSS
Hey guy just received my brand new JR XG11 radio yesterday and I have a problem. Ever since I first powered up the radio I noticed a green status light instead of the blue light. I checked the manual to see what it means but from what I saw they did not mention the green light in the manual. When i bound the radio to my RG1131BPU receiver with three antennas I get a solid light on the receiver which I know is bound to the radio but when I try to move the sticks the servos do not move at all but when I try the servo test function in the monitor page the servos respond to the test. I plan on calling JR tomorrow but first I want to see if anyone out there is having the same issue or a solution or in the worst case scenario I just might have gotten a defective unit from JR

Have you charged the battery fully?the LED on the front panel only has BLUE, FLASHING BLUE, RED and FLASHING RED for indications, so cannot see where the green comes from? The LED on the back of the TX indicates only charging status and that will be on, green, when it is charging.
Before creating any new model, update the firmware to the latest, saves the hassle from backup and restore. This might also clear the strange behaviour.

The green light comes on when a warning is activated - e.g. could be the throttle stick position or a switch - although when you get a warning there is also an audible alarm & the screen shows what the cause of the warning is. I assume from what you say that there is no such warning info on the screen.

It's usually because you have set up an alarm condition which activates when you power up the radio or select a model. The screen should tell you which switch is in the wrong position. Check that the throttle stick is at zero as well.
To check or change the settings, go to the System ->Warning menu. It is a great feature as you can customise it to what you want. My DX7 drives me crazy as it requires throttle hold to be off on power up. For heli flyers it is safer to have it on. Regards Acrow |

Well .... I have XG11 and 11x. Love the radios and wanted to switch completely to DMSS... Wanted...
My tx had an issue that "it could not hold the charge".... I would charge it overnight but the tx would run low (or simply switch off) after 10 to 15 minutes.... I tryed everything but finally sent it back to the store where I bught it. They are still "trying" to figure out what is wrong with it.. Funny thing about it was that the lights would never shine the same color... Once it was red... The other time blue... No real consistency... I really can't complain much as they sent me an XG14 to use while they figure it out. But I sure do miss my XG11 as I like the feel of the radio over the XG14... Gh Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Page 13 of the english manual gives the colour of the front LED. The rear LED is only on when the battery is charging, off when fully charged or when there is a problem with charging.
There are NO green LED on the front panel, so cannot understand where your green LED comes from, not at home to physically check my TX, but that is what the manual states. Quote:

Vinger,
Regardless of what the manual says I can assure you there is a Green LED, active when there is a warning alert. Steve |

OK you guys convinced me, as I said do not have my TX only manual to go by. If there is a warning it should then give you the warning description and go away as as it is cleared, again posted already.
Have you created a new model and select that and see if it goes away on next switch on?

Running the XG11 firmware on my 11X, but green only occurs with a warning. The display should announce warning. If not, or if the green lighting is lit under non-warning onditions, I'd say send back for replace or repair.
