total gain still mystery

haven't setup everything yet , just at pitch travel [+/- 11] , but there is no working relation between the 2 gyro switch settings [rate ,HH] and the total gain [ which is now showing 41 @ center pitch] , oddly if i use the 'gear/F.mode' switch 'total gain drops to 0????


Whats the other number [black on white, meaning neg] reading 143 ? it remains unaffected by any switch.

i just tried assigning something to 'gyro sw' in MIX 1 , no difference

Thanks 360 , but that's DX 7 stuff
. I was just about to post my own answer. That F.mode switch is connected to something in the Tx (dx6i) thats set 100-0. Just have to find it . I suspect the D/R section , with more complication

nope still haven't found it . learning lots talking to myself here.
