I modified the one original side piece to match the V3 side, but there is still interferance. It needed to be shorteded a bit and the ends rounded off more. If you move the word TACO up 2mm and shorten the pieces accordingly, it would be perfect.

Newest one on the left, modified one on the right.

Newest one on top, modified one on bottom.

After I made the modifications, the canopy fits perfect everytime without extra pressure required to install.

I just received the NEW V3 Anti Taco Kit from Kevin because of a mix up in parts on the last kit. This new V3 kit is right on the money. It is modified EXACTLY like the suggestion I posted right above this post. It gives PERFECT clearance for the canopy to fit.

hi guys really who came up with taco looks like a egg roll to me have never seen any tacos come from taco bell look like a smushed battery did the person that gave it this name get drunk and go to taco bell late nite run then go fly his heli

this mount should be made from a energy absorbing hard rubber in a hard crash the energy will travel though the object till it finds a weak point

I think the website was down for a while. For the time being, we could buy the metal battery tray from KDE which is longer than stock tray and have the similar protection effect as this upgrade. The down side is that KDE battery tray is much more $$$$ ...
