Only used the miniaviation 190mAh which are great for the stock n mild set up. Will look into the 300's...

What's the air temperature when you fly?

Thanks. Yes, they do fly great at room temperature. But I've found that below 60°F performance degradation is noticeable. Warming them---as suggested by Dylan---corrects that problem.

I just purchased these for my mild motor. Hopefully they are good. Anyone ever try them?

I haven't try those, but they look really similar to the flytown and microheli 200 mah. I have both and I don't notice any difference between them other than I pay more for the microhelies. I think they're the same battery, but with different labels. I may be wrong, but that's what my instincts tell me.

I'm still in the search for the ultimate battery for the Mild BL ncpx.

So far the stock is the winner but really only provides 2 minutes of bog free performance.

Are there any definitive cells that are better than stock?

Default Brushless battery thread

I think it would be helpful for the group to know which LiPO you've tried so far. I know there were quite a few suggestions on here.

Also, now that we know Blade ships Nano with new 35c LiPO, we shouldn't blanket refer to the eFlite 150mAh as "stock" battery. There's clearly two versions now.

eFlite 150mAh 25c @$3.99 MSRP
eFlite 150mAh 35c @$4.99 MSRP

Can anyone give their experience about the new 35c Eflites compared to the older 25c?

I just ordered a new MILD kit from Dylan and I'm thinking of retiring my five Eflite 25c lipos for the new rig...

TIA for your advice!

Pete

Just bought a few 35c eflights from lhs w/o a chance to charge them yet, but the glacier from epbuddy are the bomb! Tried them for first time this am, talk about some power! The hyperion 160's are garbage. Worked great for brushed stock though. The stock elites worked pretty good, when the hyperions didn't.

This is good info. I've tried the stock 25C's, TP's, and Hyperion 160's.

So far from what I can tell (from reading this thread and others) here are the top picks:

1) Stock 150 35C
2) Glaciers
3) Stock 150 25C

Any others?

Bought a Nano frame in anticipation of my brushless build and saw they also had the new 35c Eflite 150s so I picked up 5 of them today!

Bought 5 of the Glaciers....

They are def better than the stock 25c efilghts. Best bang for the buck for sure - they cost the same as the Nanotech ($2 each) and have about 2x the power

Anyone know where to get the glaciers other than epbuddy? Seem to always be out of stock.

I'd also love to hear how they stack up to the new 35C stock batteries.

I think only EPBuddy sells them.

They are always out of stock? Perhaps it's like the Brushless kits. It's that good and so there's more demand than supply.

Glad some of you guys are starting to see the performance from them.

My calculations shows they are about 170-174mAh cells. Good curves. All three I bought for testing had good and similar curves. Shows there are some short of QC involved. Unlike the Turnigy cells where I would get some good ones and some very bad ones in the same order. Defeats the purpose of the low price.

And you can't beat the price for performance.

Intellect 450's on the 16500kv motor and
Hyperions 160's on the 13500kv motor

Works great for me :-)
