I really like that, Nice and Bright.

Mine is 425 basic kit it has Futaba 3004's Cyclic, Futaba 9253 tail with Logictech 2100T gyro, CC 100A ICE esc, and have not got a motor yet.

Ignore the other heli, these one pics I have with main blades on it I was comparing a old electric heli my dad still has to this one.
What Hacker A40 motor you got whats the - number? I do not see a 1600kv one.how do you like it? 1600Kv kinda high.

Thanks, it's the A40-10S V2. I got a good deal from the for sale forum. I'm still trying to set up the ESC for the motor, my Phoenix 60 doesn't seem to want to play nice with it. The KV is higher than I wanted to go but couldn't pass up the deal when I saw it. I have it geared to give me somewhere in the 2600ish range, so far so good.

Thanks just was trying to see how you had your ESC wires ran.... I see there just ran on the outside of the front servo. i guess there so stiff they stay put... I would be worried them getting against the push pull rods. Just trying to get idea's how to do mine.

what is that under your gyro? looks green? some type of pad for the gyro to sit on?
is that needed?

You're right; the wires are stiff enough that it will take some serious force to make them even come close to the servo. That green stuff is zeal tape. I believe koysho is the only one who makes it. It is a sticky gel like substance that is soft like silicone but will hold form when cut. A tad on the expensive side for some sticky tape. I had problems with the quark wagging bad. Started with the one piece of 1mm tape like on the finless vid. Added the metal plate and it helped but still didn't hold enough to satisfy me. Even with the raptor 30 tail blades. Put a little zeal tape on and presto....rock solid. Don't know if it is "necessary" though.

...I was going for REALLY BRIGHT and it worked out...Little Avingale the Pappillon in the background, is averting her eyes due to the INTENSE brightness !
Dinsdale, my other dog is oblivious...he just wants to chase the ball...!

Well here is my 425. Canopy is stock. Took around 2 hours to assemble and paint and its a very rough job. Not flown yet. Waiting on a pinion gear.
