It doesn't look cheap. I'd be looking for it. But flying around a grocery store with customers is really bad. Not good for any of us.

At least is was a octo copter, could you image how much bad publicity we would get if it was a 700 size bird.

No one would fly a 700 near a shop. That person does not likely exist.

That's the difference IMHO. One machine demands common sense, punishes with downtime and repair costs, and cannot be anywhere nor can they be flown long incompetently. The other does not require much, rarely punishes poor piloting, and can flown anywhere for a long time by an inexperienced beginner pilot.

One of those two is more likely to result in lameness.

A 550 hex with Naza, a gimbal and a gopro 3 black.....that's a couple grand right there. Quads/hex's/ octos aren't as cheap or forgiving as some of you like to make out.

Probably right around $1k. Cheap and forgiving is a positive. But people are idiots in general and now they have less of a learning curve to demonstrate that unfortunately.
The fact that no one came looking for it, it could be a fly away.

Go buy a new GoPro3 Black and then use the $600 left from the grand and buy what? A good gimbal board (AlexMos) is $150!
