I'm going out to fly my v-bared 450 pro to take the edge off...

Could someone please confirm the size of hex driver needed to tighten the spindle bolt? it's a 4mm bolt and I'm trying to get all my tools ready. I have 2 3mm. Thanks

You'll need two 3mm hex drivers for the spindle bolts.

Cool, Thanks...
Here's my collection of Mip Thrope drivers..

.9, 1.3, 1.5 (X2), 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 (X2)

What is the most accurate tool for setting the pitch on a logo? I have a swashplate level tool coming but how about blade pitch? a flat bar bolted to where the head button goes? any ready made tools available?

Thanks

This is a very very nice tool :

https://www.readyheli.com/RDLohrs-Mi...l_p_36741.html

Does the job very easily. Only problem is that I fly without the headstopper now.

Damn... I was looking for that on RH site when I ordered the electronics and didn't find it. I was looking in the tools section and forgot to check under flybarless... grrr... I'll have to wait 'till I need something else to order it, I'm not paying 20 bucks shipping on a $16 part...

Rick's mount works great if you wish to use a normal pitch gauge. However, if you upgrade to 5.0 pro there is a precision pitch setup routine in the software that all you'll need is a ruler or measuring tape.

Sorry no pictures tonight. I took some with my camera but I'm too tired to turn my computer on. I got the frame, head, swash and washout built. Tomorrow I'll do tail assembly and install the main shaft and head onto the frame. I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

Looks great! Don't forget to ground the motor mount to the tail.

So ground the motor mount to the tail boom or all the way to the tail case? And why would I need to do it if I'm running 2.4ghz? Looking at the pictures of the tail case any of you think the tail belt is to close to the boom? And the manual has the little bearing tensioner in the wrong place. All the electronics are being delivered tomorrow morning so I'll be installing the rest onto the heli. If I had batteries I could maiden it this weekend I think... This is a really big heli, my 450 looks so small next to it and I used to think my 450 was a big heli...
