Default tail and gyro problems

Hey i have a blade 400 3d I just got it about a week ago and im useing a tactic radio with it. Everything works fine at first, but as soon as unplug the battery and plug it back in the tail servo stops working. I can get it to move if i give it full elevator and right rudder but it just moves full right and thats it. I dont understand, if i delete the model memory and redo it all it works but as soon as unplug and plug back in the battery it stops working again

Can you tell us what gyro and servo you are using? Is it the stock ones?

What is your gyro gain value in the transmitter?

When you plug the battery in, does the tail move immediately over to one side, or slowly moves over?

Is it always to the same side?

Gyro and servo are both stock the gyro light comes on and is solid. The gain is about 75% on the gyro and around 40% on the radio. The tail does not move when i plug the battery in it will only move if i push full elevator and right rudder and it only will go full right....it will not go left at all. Im so confused by this because it works just fine If i reset the model on the radio and do not disconnect the the battery the whole time i am setting it up. I have an extra gyro and servo same model and it made no difference. I have even flown the heli a few times, I just have to reset the model everytime i want to....it has a lot of tail waggle and if i give alot of throttle the tail washes out.

I don't know anything about the tactic radio, but if you are repeating the problem with different gyros, then the radio settings is possibly your problem.

Having said that, the stock gyro is rubbish and if you have a spare (second hand?) then it may be because the spare failed and was replaced.. it's possible the replacement has the same fault.

Needing elevator and rudder indicates you have a mix set, you could check that. It doesn't explain why it would work one minute and not another though.

If it had to guess, and I do , then I'd guess the gyro was duff.

Im pretty sure the gyro is fine but maybe it doesnt work well with tactic protocol. I have a gy401 on my guai i may pull it off and try it on my blade. Ill probably just buy one anyways since the stock is pretty bad even when it does work right.

I don't remember too much, but isn't there a rate mode and a heading hold mode on the stock gyro that is dependent on the gyro switch gains and values?

Find a copy of the manual and look at the gyro settings area, and use the suggested values to start with.

This may have nothing to do with the issue, but that's all I could come up with.

I figured out the problem....I just have to set the throttle servo to normal when I turn the radio on then I can reverse it after I bind if I do t reverse it it the throttle is backwards.

Throttle? I thought we were talking about a tail issue??
The throttle has no servo, do you mean the ESC demand? This shouldn't be in any way linked to your tail.

im talking about the throttle channel so yes the esc command, I know it sounds wierd but thats what was keeping the tail from activating...I simply turn channel 3 to normal and then plug the heli on, reverse channel 3(esc channel) and boom tail works flawlessly.
