Default The Big Papa

It's been almost 2 years since I bought the kit from a friend and started building it, and I would say this is the biggest and one of the coolest heli I ever build and flown, It's big present in the air, huge canopy, huge blade, cool sound, all make me smile whenever I look and fly it. Simply one of the best heli I ever have. I don't fly it often, just once a while, its just different, and I always have fun flying it. Thanks Mikado!!
Let me introduce you..The Big Papa

About the motor, it was a stock 5035-380kv rewound by Dekker using 1.7mm wire that gives about 42% copper increase over the stock version and kv measured at 390. Here's some detail pics of it

After

Hello!

Nice build. I have the Same motor from Dekker and also the x8 Servos, loving it :-). Only difference is your kosmik, I still use the yge.

Anyway, here is a small tip for your servos:

http://customheliparts.com/store/ind...product_id=442

These are custom made (for me) and give you the perfect angle on the swash and also nice values using vbar. I totally recommend them! Price is only $5.99 per pice. They are plenty strong and work great.,,

And one more thing, I don't get any money from chp for this :-)

Have fun with your logo, and if u can post a kosmik log. I got the motor up to 170-180 amps peak with Jeti telemetry...but I think the kosmik log will be better :-)

Best regards

Hey..good to know Big Papa has a twin brother somewhere in europe
Thank you for the servo arm info bro...will put them on my wishlist for sure...so far the red mks arm works fine for me...as I recall it was just some simple drilling work to enlarge the threaded holes for the M3 screws to fit in.

Anyway, will try to pull the kosmik log in a few days for you to see
