Mr. Kasama and his team been doing R&D for the next Srimok E during the past 2.5 years. He just tested the first flight yesterday and very happy with the result. Here is one of them, "Linear Actuators servo" for Super cyclic with unique swash plate control.

Thanks for update.

Can't wait.
I've been still in love with my KSM helicopters since first 90N hit the market in 2009. They've flown as good as they look for all this time.

So it has been brought to my attention that this post has caused offence to a Thai person.

Let me clarify, I did not mean any offence by it, I do not hate Thailand, I do not hate Mr. Kasama. I do plan to retire to Thailand.

As a Brit I did not realise British have an obsession with time until I spent time in Thailand.

In the UK, if you arrange to meet someone for a meal and you are 15 minutes late you would apologise for being late.
When we meet with my wife's friends at a restaurant in Thailand they think nothing of turning up anytime within the hour you agreed to meet.

In the UK if the train is 3 minutes late people start tutting and looking at their watches like they would have changed the world in those 3 minutes they lost.
In Thailand, a train is 10 minutes late, meh nobody cares. It doesn't matter.

What can I say, cultures differ, jokes are lost in translation.

I doubt it's a culture difference...it's more of a business vs pleasure thing.

These helicopters are basically toys....but even though Kasama is a business it's more like a hobby/pleasure thing...at least that's what I think it seems to be.

If you visited the Avant forum and read about the constant whining and complaining you'll understand what I'm talking about. Best way to put it is....1st world problems...

I have been told they are indeed testing a prototype, so it does exist!

Yes, it is and they are testing it right now. If everything is going well then will be in production.
