Yep, me too. Well, I only ordered one set. I'm also going to try the AR pin assembly from the MH "X" swash on my RKH swash and see if by some small chance it fits. If it does, I'm going to do the rear AR mod on my stock framed helis, too.

the new frame sides are diffrent, but no need for them unless your going to flip your servos around, I dont think with the larger motors that the servos can be flipped anyways, will see, I have TA-915,HPO7 double BL, and building a spin 16300 now and I just got the parts to change the AR bracket to the back and boom holder, not going to wait for the release of the frame, the AR pins can be changed on the V1 swash so you dont need the whole swash, pins can be purchased from MH

Just installed the new top bearing mount, to move the AR guide to the rear and the new swash plate which has everything moving much more accurately.
I've only had a chance to put a couple of batteries through, though it already feels better. I didn't realise how warn the old AR carbon pin was, so that's probably helped too. The new boom clamp looks much better, I'll wait until I break the old ones first! |

As far as I can see, the frame sides for the two side servos are essentially the same pieces, but the old ones have the aluminium standoffs punched in rather than screwed in on the new frame. I drilled mine out and replaced them with diy extended standoffs to flip the servos - the only difference is that you swap the sides over, to mount the servos in the right alignment so that the rods are pointing straight up from the servos to the swash balls.
So they are different, but if you're on a budget/willing to do it you can drill the old posts out, swap the sides and mount your own (or the set of extended aluminium ones from MH) to save the cost. Between a diy rear facing AR mount made from hacking up the stock frame, diy dampening system, and the flipped servos, the only things I'm missing are the alu tail mount and the upward facing canopy post screw |

Well, I think one of the member here point out one important fact that I need to consider is due to the larger BL motor, I having a doubt that I can flip the servo. I love the idea to flip the servo as I dont' really like those zip-zag links. So does anyone here can confirm with me that I can use the X-frame flip servo on a HP-05 / 10A esc set up ??? Please advise.

The servos being flipped has no bearing on motor clearance as far as I can see, at 8mm the posts provide plenty of clearance. |

Well, I made my own posts to fit, with a grommet at the end between the post and the servo, partly because the posts were all slightly different lengths, and partly to minimise any vibration transfer to the servo.
If the MH ones are shorter than 6 or 7mm, then you might have a problem... It's hard to tell, particularly from that last photo, but there's about 1.5-2mm clearance between the HP05 bell housing and the main gear of the servo. |

I looked on the WOW site. Where are the parts to upgrade to v2 of the frame? Particularly to reverse the mounting of the servos. Also, does mounting the servos backwards prevent them from getting dirt in there when crashing?

Here's what you're looking for:
http://www.microheli.com/store/produ...roducts_id/681 This link should have most of the upgrade parts that are available from wowhobbies http://www.wowhobbies.com/search.aspx?find=mcpx&log=false&manufacturer=12 The reason for flipping the servos is to be able to use a straight pushrod instead of a zig-zag one so there should be less play and more direct control from the servo to the swashplate. of course, this can also translate to more damage/energy transfer in crashes too. |

I was at their store last weekend and asked them to order the CNC Steel Ball w/Pin Sleeve set. Hopefully they get it soon because I don't want to put out $6 shipping for a $3 item.
