It requires a WKM or A2 with the PC Ground Station program. It called POI or point of interest.

Can you make it fly sideways for example for 100 meters between 2 waypoints?

Thinking about buying the iPad Ground Station. I currently have a Naza H V2 with a iOSD Mini. Just wondering if I can plug the air end of the data link into the open CAN-Bus on my iOSD Mini, or do I need to buy a CAN BUS Hub?

Yes.

No need to buy another CAN BUS

Default DJI PC Ground Station Flight Data

Has anyone found a way to record/export/display the flight data that the ground station gets during a "mission"? It would be nice to "replay" a misson after the fact to see all the data. When flying, you may not be looking at all the data and later want to see what the max speed was, or altitude, or track, etc?

I know you could use like a "fraps" screen capture and play it back, but I was wondering if there was anything from the application itself that can record/export/display past missions?

Thanks in advance
John

Default Help

Hallo,
i'm Italian, i'm sorry for my bad english. I need help for a question about GS on iPad:
When i use the search function, it doesn't work. I've connected everithing right. The gps is ok, datalink is connected to mini iosd and this is connected to PMU. The internet connection is ok too but, when i select a search function and type a anime of country like Rome or Milan, the message appears: "Request timeout" and the GS doesn't find the location.
Ps i've a naza v2 on my dji F550.

When you first power up the GS, does it scan and find your aircraft?

Thanks for your answere...
Yes, GS reveals the aircraft and displays everithing. The problem is when i search a different location where i'm. For example, If i am in Rome and i search Milan, the message is "request timeout"

So other than that, everything works fine?

Why are you searching for a place other than where you are? Just curious as to what you're trying to accomplish...

Ok! Now I understand. . In the GS, you can zoom out to show a larger area, move the area you want to center, then zoom into it.

I'm not sure the search function is usable yet, doesn't work on my iPad either for that purpose.

Hi,
I turned on the radio, aircraft and GS. I zoomed out and selected a search function. In the window i wrote a location.
The message was the same: "request timeout". I was in gps mode and the aircraft was visible on GS.

Guerinomaione I think what they are saying is at your home base with internet connection, zoom out until the area you want to go to is included in the map, then pan until it is in the center and then zoom in on the area you want to make a mission for. do this without using the search function.

hope that helps.

Default Continuing POI "pain"

I too have just acquired DJI's Ground Station running on my iPad Mini and an autonomous POI flight is not smooth at all. I've emailed DJI about this several times asking them to add it as a software update (which they easily could do) but as of yet they have not.

What is it doing that's not smooth? Have you tried adjusting gains to get a smoother action?

What exactly would you like to see in an update?
