Default Logo 500 supercombo toughts. Thinking of buying...

I was always planning a logo 600 as my next build this winter. But now with the 500 supercombo coming out, it's really tempting to get this one, right now, instead. Seems like a really nice price and the biggest plus of all is i can use the batteries of my trex 550 in it.
Do you guys think i will regret getting a 500 instead of a 600?
How about the electronics coming with the supercombo? Any experience with these? Especially the esc and the servo's, as these seem to be the things dropping the price on the supercombo.

Edit: i noticed the motor is the 4020, i believe this motor has quit similar performance as the 600mx?
That's a bit of a let down...

I can tell you that I bought the 500 when it first came out and it was awesome. Less money than the 600 all the way around. I converted to the SE last season with hopes to run 600mm blades but then went back to 550mm blades so I could still use my 6s5000mah packs. The ONLY thing I wish Mikado would do is use the cut down 600 tail on the 500 and 500SE and get rid of the 20mm boom all together. I have been using the 4020-1100kv motor all season and while this motor was a little doggy on my Trex 550 it is great on the Logo 500se. The Logo seems to need much less power than other 550mm machines on the market, at least that is what I have found. I have a brand new 4025-1100kv motor in the box but so far my Logo doesn't need it.

I bought this kit 18 months ago although the content was slightly different - no servos for starters. The ESC was the Jive 100LV. I bought the Savox servos listed and have been really delighted with this heli.

I was a relative newcomer and this heli has helped me gain confidence. It is super-smooth, stable and powerful capable of surprising my nitro-engined Trex and Raptor heli buddies where I fly with it's agility, stability and a crowd-pleasing power climb.

The only change I made was to get Edge 553 blades.

I have a Voltz 6S 5100mah and a TP 5000mah both of which give me over 8 minutes casual flying.

Apart from one unexplained crash - probably excess vibration from the tail which Edge tail blades fixed, all has been uneventful.

I would recommend upgrading to VBar PRO software though to keep an eye on things.

I would recommend:

- Edge 553 or Rotortech 560's
- Jive 100LV
- Edge or Radix 92's

If you fly hard, get the Scorp 4025-1100 and 15t pinion (more power, slightly less flight time).

Otherwise, the 4020-1100 will be ok.

I'll warn you now, once you fly the Logo 500, your T550E will be collecting dust.

I think i'll be going with the 600 this winter. Because it's quit a bit more expensive, it's wait till this winter for the logo 600 or get the 500 supercombo now.
I think the 600 will be a better choice for me in the long run as it comes with a more than capable motor-esc combo. I'm affraid i'll outgrow the 500 supercombo pretty fast and spend more money upgrading it, than i'll spend getting a logo 600.
