Default Helijive for a Logo 700

Just built a Logo 700 kit only and plan to fit my own components to it,i am planning to use either a 4525 520 motor or a Pyro 800 maybe but was hoping to use a Kontronik Helijive in it,now i am mainly sport and big air with a bit of 3D thrown in but i know i might be pushing my luck a bit with this ESC on this bird.

I have seen reports of the Helijive being used with these motors,on a Goblin 700 as an example but of course the Logo 700 is bigger and heavier.

So is anybody running one OK or should i look to getting a Kosmik?

Thanks in advance

For your flying style its perfect, i would not hessitate with those motors to push it hard, but be smooth on collective and make sure your connectors are at least 5 mm and soldered with gastorch if you dont have a vey good iron and or soldering skills, most problems stems from connections. You dont want to know what ive done with my 120 hv and handwind motors, suffice to say i would not try it with any other incl my oem yge 160.
Kosmik only needed if you go14 s

Default Helijive for a Logo 700

I have Jive on 700 Compass and it is just fine. I use buffer pack as recommended but it is self charging so is simple !!

I use the Helijive on my 700DFC and Goblin 700 but i decided to go for a Kosmik 160 for my Logo 700,mainly beacuse a second hand one came up at a good price.

Sure no problem I have ran that motor on the Helijive with great results on a 700 disk I myself never had a cutout! A very aggressive high HS smack flyer may need a larger ESC!
