Default Chase 360, missing parts??

So my Chase came today, started the build and things are going pretty smooth. Then, I'm setting up the servo horns on the servos and notice I don't have any balls for the servo horns? I've been digging through the 1 million bags of parts that came in the kit but can't seem to find them.

Are they not included? Is it because I only got the motor esc combo and no servos? If that is the case does anyone know the ball size from something else that would work? I really want to maiden it this weekend!

I only got the airframe kit and it came with the balls. I believe they are 4.5mm but my calipers are plastic. Good luck

After going crazy looking for the servo horn balls I now realize that I am missing a bag off all the balls. Based on how it is packaged I assume all the balls are in one bag which mine seems to be missing. No balls for the servo horns and none for the blade grips as well. Looks like this thing will be sitting on the shelf for the next week until parts arrive.

I could have delt with any shortcomings in a new kit but missing parts is just amateur hour. Very disappointed with my first experience from KDS!

I was missing the screw that goes in the tail fin to hold it on. Also there were no nuts to go on the back of the balls on the servo horns. Normally you get those in an kit I've bought before. Luckily the spare bag of trex balls had the nuts in

So between us we were missing a screw, balls and nuts

Mine came with all those

The nuts should be in a bag "M2 13 pieces" I think.. looking at what I have left over.

I actually didn't use mine, as my servo arms are plastic so it doesn't really matter. Teething problems for first batch kits I guess

What are you all using for the 1st stage pulley pin that secures the 18t 2nd stage pinion to the 50t pulley? The manual shows a 2nd stage pulley pin part #9, but I don't see a pin in any of the bags.

Thanks.

My kit arrived today with missing motor mount brackets. A little disappointed with my first experience with KDS. It sucks to wait for parts to arrive. I already emailed Allen from KDS about it.

The pin was more of a screw. It has threads at the top and is machined smooth at one end. It was in a bag by itself just like the rest of the screws.

Update: KDS will be sending any missing parts to their customers. Very fast email reply. I understand this is the first batch so things like this will happen. I really appreciate the good customer service.

Sounds like while KDS may have missed a detail or two here or there while shipping they are speedy to make things right. I like that. This is very good to see.

The good news is that my chase flies great. At first, I put a little too much belt tension on everything an flight time really suffered. Went back and redid the tension and it was much better!

Found the pin. It was in the bag with the canopy posts. Thanks DJG24!

Looks like I'm missing the small brass spacers for the arms that attach to the head, & also one is needed for the tail slider assembly......

Hopefully I can find some small enough ss washers....

So my build has come to a stop due to these 3 missing spacers worth 10cents at most....
