Still having Governer issues. (solved)

This is copy/pasted from the JR section which so far was of no help.

So I've been messing with the governor on my NX4 for a while now its the Gaui gov. Can't seem to get it working the way I want.

Current settings are as follows:

Governor is plugged into Aux 3 on the Ar7200bx

In Device Select Aux 3 -> FMOD -> GOV



Under Governor, Norm = -70% , ST1/2= -110%



The problem is with the governor turning off, or I should say NOT turning off. The manual states that under 30% throttle the gov should technically shut off.

My normal mode throttle curve is 0-25-50-100, yet no matter what I try the gov. stays on (LED glowing green) from 0% throttle all the way up to 100%.

The only way to have the gov. to turn off is to go back into the governor settings and set it manually to 0 gain.

its a 11x, saw that thread above before. Couldn't find an answer.

Am I right to think that the LED should go red when under 30% throttle? Or does it just keep glowing green and the governor just doesn't engage until 30%?

I don't have an 11x but looking at the manual it says GOV can be on gear, aux1 or 2. Are you sure it can be on aux 3?

Just checked my Align which I believe is just like your Gaui.

At full low stick Led is Green. No change from flight mode switch... Always Green, Always on.

Only time it goes Off is when it reads the magnet.

Mine never goes red.

Ah, makes sense. Im guessing it just stays green and doesn't engage until 30% throttle.

I'll give it a careful test flight tomorrow and see if everything is working as it should.. If its not, I'll take you up on that phone call

Also, I do believe Aux 3 should work. As I'm sure you can tell, in the 11x menu's it allows me to set Gear through Aux 3 as Gov.

So I got to fly a couple of tanks today, just came back from the field. Seems like the governor is working perfectly

Light does stay green, however it doesn't engage until 30% throttle.

Now I just have to tune the Beastx, thanks for your help Taus, appreciate you taking your time to look into this.
