Default ever have a good bad day

Went out to get my rappy 90 setup after needing a new gyro. Went with the GY520 ds650 combo...nice so far.

So get there only to find other heli pilots there....nice. I as able to get help with the tail setup I had been struggling with. Took a couple tanks but it's good enough to go flying now...well, I still think it's a little fast for me but I can change that.

What else I was working out was cyclic setup. Rage was good but mismatched between aileron and elevator. Couldn't get this nailed down at the range...could have if I had more time. But my financial adviser indicated that her car was not running.

So time to packup.

So close to getting this just right

I unload and put the bird on the bench to look it over , check the manual etc. Guess what I found. I had just replaced the servos and hadn't matched the proper ball location on the aileron and elevator servo. Just staring right at me

So maybe tomorrow I'll be doing some loops and 4. rolls, maybe a rainbow or 2

Tell me about it. I don't think there is anything I haven't done. Even tried to start it this passed weekend, one of my test flights...or lack thereof, tried to start the thing without the rx on. Couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start. ended up that had another problem...1 wind, 2 setup on pitch curves, D/R, expo...basically, everything. Just goes to show that mechanical isn't the only thing that needs to be checked. I'll redo everything tomorrow and try again.
