What's the setup, a multirotor? and any kind of gimbal? How much did you play with the sharpness/pic quality in editing?

Sorry to intrude into the thread, but yes, it does take better pictures than before. Although in 12mp, you can only shoot wide angle I believe. It's weird, some video resolutions allow for different lens angles as well. "narrow" isn't very distorted.

Whenever I see over the water shots I think of the picture of the man waiting on the shore in the bahamas. There is a black lady in snorkel gear walking out of the surf with an octacopter, gimbal and camera in one hand with a coy smile.
BTW, I've flown over fresh water many times.

damn thats amazing. How do you get it so smooth? I have a quad with a kk2 and a gimble. I cannot get the shakes out. small shakes... yours is like butter with NO gimble! is this done with a program?

i use mercalli pro dad to help stabilization for a very shaky footage
generally the quad is stable enough and the footage are good. balanced motor /prop that's the way and a smooth control stick .
