Default Bl initialization issue w/ video

So u will notice that the beeps are continuous and its very hard to get it to initialize. Sometimes the main motor will spin for a second but that's it.

When you turn the main shaft by hand does it turn freely? Looks like something is binding the motor.

Check your signal wire and also make sure the PWM polarity is appropriate for where you've taken the signal from

That's what I think it is Amp is a signal wire issue. The motor turns free. Maybe it's a bad motor too though because when it does just start to spin like you see in the video and then stops you can still hear motor wanting to turn. It almost sounds like a really faint bell chiming. Like the can wants to turn. You guys don't know how many times I have resoldered so I don't think it's a soldering issue. I just don't know enough about electrical to test it so I don't know where else to pull a signal from.

Hard to tell but it looks like the signal wire is soldered a little lower than what I thought it should be.
I soldered mine right to the leg of the bigger black component. Looks like yours is on the other side of the little component beneath it.

EDIT: I measured the ohms and the two places are the same, so you should be OK

Mine did the exact same thing you are experiencing. Something was rubbing inside the motor. What did on mine was gently push the up into the motor while the motor was trying to turn. That got it going. Hopefully that will work for you. Or maybe take the motor out of the frame then try running it again.

Actually those two spots are electrically connected, so it shouldn't matter that you soldered to the place you have. Sorry.

That'll do it.

Lucky he bought it from you...problem solved. Honestly with all the little teeny screws carefully packaged, the custom spacers, tonnes of micro soldering, poor supplier QC at times (I can imagine) and the hours you keep I'm thoroughly impressed with what you get done.

Supplying the world with cool custom stuff at very reasonable prices, with good service and shipping.

Extra points and credibility for taking responsability publicly.
One error...pffft done that by morning tea on some days lol.

No big deal. I will tell you guys........it gave me a hell of a lot of practice soldering. My hand doesn't even shake anymore. LOL! I just appreciate the quick response and getting the new one out so quick.

Awesome guy to deal with and a heck of a lot of help when needed.

Thanks Dylan

Chris
