Default Great Planes "RIFLE" build

Well my plane came and the horizontal tail fin was tweeked. I called and was treated as a valued customer and will have a new one shipped to me at no cost. So far everything else looks very nice. I will be going with stock/recommended servo's, motor, prop, and ESC. I did have another ESC I was going to use but the fuse is VERY tight and would not allow the 1500Mah packs to slide in.

My replacement part came in (sooner than what I was told) so very happy with service after the sale. I did hit a snag with the servo's though. Since there is very little room in this plane I went with the servo's recommended in the manual. The elevator servo fit fine after a little trimming of the mounting block which the manual states is needed. The servo in the wing (only one is used) took a bit to get to fit in the hole. Once the servo dropped in the mounting hole I found the servo to "sit" about 3/16 above the wing. Not wanting to dig into the wing I decided to just use other servo's (digital) I have coming. With a mass produced plane under $100.00 I cant complain really about fitment issues. I will post some pics when my other servo's get here.

Slow...well stopped really. I need to make a piece to go between the servo and the wing. Was not happy the servo will not sit flush. I have been working on a foamie to have done for a fun fly.
