That is truly impressive. I hope to do some really nice scale stuff in my retirement.

I'm usually pretty quite on the forum and do more reading than posting but this seriously caught my attention and I must say that is very impressive. I could only dream of being good enough to obtain that level of precision. Great job guys!

I guess the Russians just ousted the Germans in the scale race for now?

Seriously, first time I saw this my brains near melted out of my ears.

100 micron thick details.....

I've been to switzerland a few times (Saas-Fee and Saas Almagel (home to Pirmin Zurbriggen). used to ski race and we'd go to Saas-Fee to train in the summer. really cool place.

BTW It makes more sense that the dog is american!

that video is mind blowing. my wife thought I was too obsessive about helis. that guy takes it to a whole new uber level.

While I applaud the level of detail on this, I'll never grasp why someone would want to build a scale model. I'd much rather have something where the design goes hand in hand with the performance (i.e. proper engineering) like a Futura jet or TDR.

Whatever floats your boat I guess. I just crashed my 450 and like the face I can rebuild and make it fly again in a few hours, not years.

For that money, I'd rather build a really cool homebuilt to fly my bitches around in.
