Default Avistar elite gasser engine?????

Does anyone know if there is a gas engine that will work on the Avistar elite airplane? I am looking at getting a avistar plane and would like a gas engine in it.

Thats too small for Gas. The sweet spot to start switching over to gas is 90/120 size planes that can use 20cc gassers like a DLE-20, G26, OS GT-22, and similar.

There are some options to go Gas for 60 size airplanes, most of these are glow conversions like the small Saito gassers and the new small Evolution motors. I dont really see much value here yet because the cost is still a lot higher than a glow engine, the added weight of the ignition/battery is significant in this size, and many of these conversions make compromises like running modified glow carburetors or not using needle bearings on the conrod which either makes tuning really tricky or requires special oil mixes. Sometimes cooling is an issue on the conversion motors as well.

Many thanks.Thats good to know.Reason I was wanting a gas is some of the local flying club members are switching from glow to gas because of the price difference in the fuel.Maybe I will just go electric. Anybody know the flight time difference between electric and glow using the recommended 4s batt in the avistar.
