Hey guys,

I found the perfect 6S pack for perfect CoG and flight time:
Turnigy 1800mAh 6S 40C Lipo Pack

If you put it all the way to the main shaft the CoG is perfect.

I also bought lighter 1300mAh packs... I really don't get how you maintain a good CoG with such packs. Even when I put them as to the front as possible (half of an inch contact surface with the chassis) the Warp is still tail heavy

Soko

PS: As I'm quite confi with 2750 rpm I will try this 2200mAh 5S packs next. They should give the same perfect CoG and a little bit more flight time as well.

For the equivalent price/weight I would think you would be better off with pair a 3S packs in the 1000mAh range and a serial connector. You keep the 6S power. They will fit in the canopy.

That's too much weight, unless you have 'something' else in mind... Stretching it?

The contrary...

Two of those are 272g.

The perfect CoG LiPo has 309g.

So I reckon I have to put them a little bit to the front (leave a ~5mm gap).

And all this is on a plain and stock Warp 360 with all electronics mounted in the front (except the motor of course).

Default Punch Platinum 6s 1300 35C

Bought 4 @ beginning of this season.

Each has 35-40 cycles and I get 5 minutes with good power.

Will this fit and leave enough room to adjust COG?

105mm x width 33mm x thickness 35mm
276gr

My perfect CoG Lipos are 113x34x39mm@309g
So if you use the wide canopy mount (have to drill 2 new holes in the canopy) you can ajust CoG position

yeah.
have a look in the manual. in one section it says something like "if you want to use bigger lipos you may want to put the canopy more to the front. to do so you need to drill new holes"
dont use the domenison they give in there though.
I think i used 20mm

I have a new 6s 1300 65c battery you guys might be interested in. The dimensions are 48x38x70 wt. 210g
This more square format makes it easier to get the weight more forward while still being light. The price is 44.99 each. I would be glad to donate one to the hardest 3d guy here for testing.

I never tried the gens ace. All I know for sure is that the LiPo I posted above fits perfectly on my Warp "super combo"

Which doesn't mean that yours wont bdw...
