Default chattering servo

I have a bad servo on my 4g3, from a crash. I'm trying to figure out which servo pack I need to order. none of the ones I've found have a matching part number to my heli. the servos I have are WK-03-1. the one website I was looking at said to make sure I have 2g-1 servos before ordering...... so, how do I know what servos I should order. My 4g3 came with the WK-2601 controller (2.4 ghz)

Thanks

ok, I've gone to wowhobbies (saw the name in another post) and have seen a better parts list, and I'm a little grumpy if I have to buy a new frame and servos. I simple can't find the wk-03-1 servos anywhere. That a lot of tear down and rebuild simply because I landed (crashed) on the right side of the heli and knocked out the right servos center!

Double Thanks

I had a bad crash and now one of my servos "chatters" at a specific point... it doesn't seem to be a stripped gear... more like it is the pot that has a bad spot.

In any event, it sounds like you have one of the original 4G3's... Why wouldn't you spend the extra few dollars to get a new frame and be able to use the new servos? I assume that the new servos are better than the old ones... why would you want to buy the older version of the servos?

The newer servos are much better than the older ones - smoother, more torque, and tougher - a very worthwhile upgrade

some people prefer originality. but replace a frame just to replace a servo? I just damage one of my servos now on my 4g3 DBL full metal. Do i have to replace the frame aswell. Also why don't they sell one servo, everyone sells them in 1 set and in each set you get 3 servos. What is up with that!! I only need one.

V2 servos perform better and last longer then the V1 servos, and you can't fit V1 servos to a V2 frame. So the V2 frame and servos can be considered an investment, and the servos will improve the flight characteristics of the heli. The only reason for sticking to the V1 set-up would be to save money in the short term.

If you bought your 4G3 as a double brushless then it should be a V2 anyway, in which case you won't have to replace the frame
