Default Esky gyro

Good day felow rc pilots. Hope somebody can help me out here. On the standard ek2-0704b gyro the led indicator light is not working at all. But it seems that the gyro is working when i move the heli tail from side to side. Is there a reason why the led light is not coming on.

Not sure Jake, According to the specs the only time the light would be off is if there is no power or if the gyro is unlocked, however, in the latter case I am sure you would have seen it flashing prior to that point. In the case of the former, I don't suppose it can be that, as you said it is correcting.

I guess it is simply a case of the led having failed.

Cheers

Doesn't no light mean that the gyro is in rate mode, rather than HH mode...?

Yup, reading it in context, I think we are both saying the same thing; the Chinglish Manual says unlocked, which is the opposite of locked ie. on a headlock gyro, unlocked = rate mode.
