I updated last night. Will test it tomorrow with the new settings and let you know the results.
Thanks

100/100 would be sweet( I can't get it on mine though)
I actually aligned the servo horn at 90 degrees, then did the trim. So what can be wrong for me to get those values and not 100/100?

When you 90'ed the servo horn did you follow up by mechanically setting the tail rotor to 0 degrees without moving the servo horn?
And prior to doing any of this the transmitter endpoints should be 100/100 on the rudder

Yes, so what i did was, set the servo to 90 degrees. Then adjust the linkages so that the tail blades are at 0 degrees. Then i used the sk720 to do the centering, left and right limits.
Im not sure about the TX, but i think it is at 100/100 for rudder, will have to double check this.

Can it be that the servo horn is not exact with the servos natural mid center?

It is possible that the horn isn't centered on the splines but you would probably see that
If you move your ball closer to the shaft you will at least get higher numbers left and right which will give you more resolution
I think my Logo tail is supposed to have a few degrees of pitch at center stick to counter act the torque so with the blades centered there is much more travel right than there is left(head rt and head left). I'm on the same boat you are

So should i move the ball link to the closest hole in the servo horn? What advantage do i get beside the 100/100?

DUDE! I followed your instructions, and man it WORKED PERFECTLY!!!
Never seen the tail so solid!!! Its perfect solid for both left and right!!!

When giving full throttle it is fine, but if you have negative pitch and then give it fullthe tail just moves a tinny bit, its ok with me.
I just kept my old trim settings just so that the tail servo is not put on too much pressure of exceeding the rudder limit. 100/100 is very hard to get, and if i keep like that i think it will ruin the servo.

But now its what we expect with the SK720, love it.

Thanks a lot gmcallister, you were great help!

I was surprised! It feels like there is a invisible wire that holds the tail in place.
Very happy now.

Wait until you get the governor in and working, it's truly amazing
Running a 600 on 12S with 2400RPM, short clip but the SK gov really shows how well it almost predicts what's going to happen.
We can't bog this thing.

I currently use the CC Esc governor.
Should I set up the sk720 instead?

Nah, not on the CC, I'd fly it for a while as it is if you're happy with it, sounds like you've hit on a good setup already
When you get the itch, pick up a HW ESC and you'll be golden.

What's the advantage of the hw esc? And should I just get the 100amp one?

It works without problems on the SK gov, the CC doesn't like to play nicely.
If you're running 6S you should look at your power draw in the CC logs to see how many amps you're pulling.
With an 8S setup you'll be running higher voltage but less amp draw, usually results in cooler electronics, more grunt etc so if you can run a HV setup on the HW 70A HV you'll have a lot of headroom to go bigger if you need to
