Has anyone got a concrete release date for the logo 700. I am hearing IRCHA and early 2011.

No date has been discussed nor released no sir. Mikado will have a tent at Ircha and "perhaps" there "may" be some word or some stuff to look at then, we'll have to wait and see.

I wish I knew the gearing on this. I have been ordering electronics in anticipation of the release. Only need the motor and dont know which kv will hit the sweet spot. Also are they going to go 12s or 14s. The suspense is killing me. This is the only helicopter in 3 years I have been excited about after I purchased my first Logo 600.

This is the entrant list for the 2010 3DMasters.

http://www.3dmasters.org.uk/2010Entrants.htm

I could have sworn that when I read this list a while ago there was a Logo 700 listed in it. Either my vision is failing or it has been removed. I thought we were going to see a Logo 700 at this event.

The 3DMasters has been running for four hours now and I can't find anything on the web about a Logo 700.

What's going on Mikado?

Jayson

Honestly, I think if it would fly (which I doubt too), it would be in a demo, not in the competition...

Agreed.

See: Rave ENV at this year's XFC.

This was changed earlier this year...

That's the CF frame they announced earlier this year. Just without the yellow trim. Looks awesome!

That's really cool... much better than these coloured parts!
Now just add a few more parts and show us the matching canopy with the right writing and some long blades

By the way... there're a few cool Logo-Scale machines! Anyone noticed their swash-driver/short linkage and shafts?

Just as follow-up... the shorter shaft is a custom build and I got the confirmation that there's no L700 @ Venlo only the updated carbon frame...

Hi Klaus,

I would be very interested to know who you spoke to to get this information about the Logo 700 not being at the 3DMasters.

Of course I take your comment seriously, it's just that I would really like to know your source of information and if they are that reliable, then surely they would be able to give you an indication of when we will see the 700 and at what event.

I made a post a while back on this thread about statements made with out any qualification.

I wish people would name their source of information. This could be along the lines of "I was speaking to a Mikado rep at a trade stall at ..." or "I have a contact I can't name who works very closely with ..." etc. At least then it would have some substance to the statement of "fact".

This black frame photo is the only photo I know of since the gold aluminium and CF 600 frame photo appeared on the Mikado website back in February. We are just assuming this photo of the black frame is for the new "Coming Soon" 700.

I really want a Logo 700 but am very dissapointed that "Coming Soon" means the best part of a year. Yes I want a well developed product but I have been putting of purchasing a new lager heli for a while now and I am getting very impatient with Mikado.

Cheers,

Jayson

No problem, I got it in a German forum, here's a translation -> http://translate.google.at/translate...48&sl=de&tl=en
I don't know if they hide it somewhere, but it's not officially show, at least not on Friday!
A friend ordered and paid his 600SE at my LHS when Mikado said 2 weeks left. He waited 3 months... I would say don't think about the L700 until it's in the shop. I understand your frustration, I too thought we'll see it at Venlo. At least that's what a team pilot at an local event said...

I can confirm that. I was there on saturday, no Logo700. I had a chat with Ulrich Röhr, mainly about the new VBar, but also asked him about the L700. Apparently one of the main developpers has been out for medical reasons (no details) for quite a while, that's the reason for the delay. He confirmed that the 700 will not be shown at the 3DM. He couldn't (or wouldn't) give any concrete timing...

About the scale machines, they are for the Logo600SE. The mikado team gave some great shows with these scale bodies, flying smooth 3D like flips, inverted, tictocs, piroflips etc :-).

Thanks Klaus and Funky242.

That sounds like good info even if it is not what I wanted to hear.

I hope we can see something more concrete at IRCHA in three weeks.

Appreciate your posts.

Regards,

Jayson

I was there on sunday. No Logo 700 there. I dit see the new frame. It looks really nice!

I also saw those Huges 500 scale heli's. They call it Fun Scale. They are able to do light 3D. Looks quite impressive when scale heli's do 3d

I spoke with Inge from Mikado on the phone this arvo, I asked her about the 700 release. She said maybe November/December but likley later. Hold ups with design, etc have pushed the release date back.
Jayson, as requested mate. This convo took place on the 6th.

Brian Simpson, PerthRC, told me on Saturday that after his trip to Venlo for the 3DMasters, the latest he has heard for the Logo 700 is February. He also suggested that the nice new aluminium and CF 600 frame we have seen is not the one that's going in to the 700.
