Default Blade CP Pro tail motor?

Hey guys,

I just damaged the tail motor in my CP Pro and needs replacement, does anyone one have any imput on different motors to use or should I just get the original one. I just bought the JR R720 receiver so I can use my JR 9303 radio and plan on upgrading to the park 370 main motor @ a later date..
Any input would be a great help.

just keep replacing the stock unit with stock until your ready to go brushless on that tail. The dual motor adds weight to an already tail heavy heli, the GWS direct drive motors are not much better (though direct drive is the way to go IMO).

Best solution is Feigao 12mm brushless with cc phoenix10 and direct drive setup in pusher mode spinning a GWS 4530 prop. There are other props that will also work....

Remember that when you go brushless on the tail, you also need a heading hold gyro so this gets expensive real quick.

Stick with the stock tail motor. the stock setup has been proven to do impressive though mild 3D by pilots that have the right abilities.

Keep it stock cheap and fly d'piss out of it!

GWSF50 for 7.2v or GWSF50H for 11.1v motor with the direct drive conversion. Works great and if you can keep the blade small and let the motor really wind out, they last pretty well.

I run the F50H with cut down 4530 props (I take .375" off each blade) on mine and it works pretty good.

I've been using the F50H for almost ten months now. I use the 3" GWS push-on props DD. Thought I finally lost it last weekend. Turned out to be a bad battery connection. Will go BL if this thing ever dies, but not yet.
