First thing is you need to check balance of your blades no matter what brand you use. That is given. Two is make sure not to over tighten the bolts so that the blades can't straighten out when the head is spinning. Three is to make sure to install the blades in correct direction.

...and four, check your feathering shaft too for bends.

I've had mine up to over 3950 rpm and no issues. I also have to note that I have had to make sure everything is mechanically sound too as those headspeeds will kill the heli if things are not in balance. Check everything no matter what as you might also have a tail rotor belt too tight or other vibration issue that's going to surface no matter what you are running or using.

Happy Flying!

Put my lynx plastics back on over the weekend... they really do work VERY well.

You should always balance your blades. For a small bird like the 300X, just use a scale accurate to 0.01g and put a piece of clear packing tape on the leading edge of the lighter blade to get the weights even. There's no need to use any further balancing techniques on the 300X blades; you're just wasting your time if you take it a step further. I've never had to adjust tracking with the Lynx blades, provided the 0 pitch is exact on the both blade grips and the swash is level.

Total blade weight is MUCH less important than total blade moment. Bolt the blade together and balance them like a teeter-totter. If the blades are within a few percent of the same weight (~.3g or less in the case of the 300) they generally won't shake in mild flight. Proper blade balance is important but with most modern blades the above method will get 99% of them working fine.

Thanks

I know the blades can take more power but unfortunately the motor and battery cannot supply it

Am I the only one that is bothered by the root being too big on these? They phisically fit but pry the grips open a bit in doing so and, unless you crank them down way too tight, introduce some flap between the blade and the grip. I don't feel anyobvious adverse effects in flight but this is no doubt unintentionally altering the dynamics of the rotor head.

they fit fine for me, i do run them tight so they can move in the grip.

they fly great and theyre $12, its the whole reason why i just bought a 300x.

We all see that, don't be bothered.
Just close the tiny gap with the grip screws and it's perfect.

I think the fit does seem to vary. My second set of new blades was considerably tighter in new grips than my first set of blades was in 3 or 4 sets of grips I used with them. I didn't fret over it though. Checking now the root seems to be the same on both sets of blades, so the new Blade grips must have been the difference in my case.
