You're back in my country now. If it weren't for the law, I'd love to go back and visit.

Grew up in Naples (southern Gulf coast). Officially left when I graduated college in 1984. How 'bout yourself?

Great job, you are really helping us out with your collection.

I have been in process of replacing the tail drive GEAR SET.

What is the difference between:
1013-1
1013-2S
1216

They all consist of same thing, it appears. I also see that 1216 is shown with the pully removed, which is what is needed to get the assembly back into the brackets holding the bearings. I hope the other two parts allow easy removal of pully so it can be mounted in place.

well the 1013-1 is a normal tail gear(white tail drive gear under the main gear.
1013-2 is for gear reduction w/ plastic blocks(blue gear under the main gear.
and the 1216 is gear reduction w/ alm blocks(also the blu gear under the main gear.
so if you have a SE you want the 1216 so you can put it in and lock tite the pully on if you have plastic blocks(most of the non SE have plastic not all but most) you want one of the other depending on the color of you tail gear under the main
you can always upgrade to the new gear set w/ metal hub (I have it is alot better IMO) and go with the 1216 this is what I would do it's a no brainer if you ask me (better gear set and easer in the field change of the main gear should you strip it.
hope this helps

If you need CF parts, I have recently purchased Trex Se Carbon fiber tail blades ($19.99) and a battery extender ($8.95,CF as well) from http://www.bfcarbon.com/ . I dont know how competitive his prices are but these are high quality products, fast shipping and if they dont have what you are looking for, you draw it, they cut it! The guy is also on ebay (100% positive feedback out of 850 sold items)

For your info, regards,
BTW

Spork is looking for someone to pick up taking this reference over!

I am asking anyone to "pay it back" and stand up and take over keeping this up to date.

So WHO is going to step up?

I have all the data and host the web site so all you need to do is PM me and I will get you set up.

Bob
