Default Am I the First?

Am I the first to strip out the main shaft retaining collar? Anyone wanna guess why I was taking the collar off in the first place?

Hints:
1. I didn't crash
2. The idea came from the mSR forum
3. It works in theory

Not swash leveling. I stripped the collar, not the screw. I tried with three screws, all had same result.

You're not running a rubberband from the main shaft to the tail shaft are you? Hehe.

Yeah, not to be an a$$ but the tail needs to spin about 4 times faster than the main rotors. Not gonna work without gears of some kind to increase the ratio of tail to main rpm. That's crazy that I guessed it cause I was just being a smarta$$.

I knew it would not work but still had to try it. I was aware of the tail has to spin faster thing too. If my LHS has the collars I will be getting one.

Yes, I really used a rubber band. Lets just say at full throttle and no main blades, the tail didn't spin fast enough to produce any yaw. My stupidity cost $2.99.

i bet if you would have used 3 rubber bands one of witch was extra long and you could wrap it around the shaft and the tail a few times that it might have worked. lol..

heck it was worth a try. u know. off to work
