Default Velos 880 with Skookum 720BE

I broke down and installed the SK from my Urukay into my Velos.
Couldn't wait for the new unit to ship any longer.

The 4 servo rigging of the Velos went very easy for me. The key to the whole thing is being accurate in swashplate link settings to match them up to each other and then with matching the servo arms to each other at mid stick.
I did a different process to achieve these adjustments from what was given in the manual and it worked out perfectly with no binding or problems, it was simple.

Also setting up the CC ESCs and Skookum to drive the twin motors went easily also.
In a nut shell:
Adjusted both ESCs to match each other with their programmable settings.
Set min and max throttle settings in the SK.
Turned SK governor "off".
Connected both ESCs to the "y" cable and plugged them into the SK.
Adjusted the high and low end points to arm the CC ESCs together at the same time, they were within a click or two with each other.
Back to the SK to turn the governor "on". Set the gear ratio and set the RPMs and it was done.
First spool up was perfect with good control between motors.
I have to say it's a real rush to see the twin motors spool up and whine away in unison. You have to admit...that's damn cool!
Maiden will occur today.

Here is a post of the motor test spool up georgi along with some still shots of the build which at the time was in progress. It's completed now but I haven't had the time to shoot updated images.
It's an awesome machine...maiden next week end.
