Default Kosmik Best Throttle % For Desired Headspeed

So what would be the best % to run the Kosmik at for any desired headspeed? Also do I want the PWM to be at 100% threw out a speed pass or do I just want to touch it???

Most Kosmik support people will say, as per the manual, 80% is the governed sweet spot.

I believe you should be trying to get to 100% PWM throughout a speed run also.

For a speed run you want it wide open, I set my TC for speed to be 85% till midstick then it goes from there to 100%. It work really well and you basically get all the power at max pitch and no governor to interfere.

Peter,
That would be good if you didn't want to limit your headspeed, I don't want my headspeed to go more than 2300 rpm's that's why i fly in Gov. mode.

In reality it does not really go up in rpm as the added collective keeps it in check, on my Banshee headspeed increases by less than 100rpm, BUT power and amps goes up. Compared to straight governed TC where it would actually start to decrease. Big plus is the thumping locomotive sound from the head!!!!
