Angry TT PV0286 Machined Elev. Link Raptor 60/90

Today i received my metal upgrades i ordered. The Elevator Link that is supposed to be CNC machined is made from some kind of weak plastic way softer that the original part !!! And its selling for over 37$ everywhere !

What kind of a scam is that? What i received is exactly what you see on the pictures of PV0286 you can see everywhere. You can buy a complete trex 450 replica with many aluminium parts on it for 32$ But i paid over 40$ for two tiny parts and they "machined" a block of plastic and sold it that much !?

Even in our hands, it absolutely looks like machined anodized black aluminium. But as soon as you drop it on a glass table it bounce like a rubber ball and make every sounds in the book except a metalic sound.

I dont know what to do with this 40$ garbage. I asked my LHS for a PV0286 and he got me a PV0286. Its not his fault.

I never thought about it.
I've used them for years without problems.
I like them better than the 1-peice A-arms because I can replace and adjust the length of the ball link to the swash.

I have 2 Raptor 90 - 1 is 100% all TT upgrades (metal & push -pull everything - including the "Raptor" metal tail case).
The other is all after-market upgrades (Quick UK, Elevated RC - etc). They both have the PV0286 A-arms.

I do long range fpv with a Raptor 90 heavily modified (in flight mixture control for high altitude, 3 blades head, different gear ratio for lower head speed and longer flights, etc).

I fly in quite cold weather sometimes and i'm trying to get rid of any plastic weak link that could break because of the cold. That is why i'm pissed i paid 40$ for plastic. What really stun me is they went the extra mile of faking machined aluminum and even write "machined" on the package.. I like Thunder Tiger and i trust them to be a major helicopter builder. You'd expect to get cheated like that from Honk Kong helicopters from Hobby King but no. Hobby King send you aluminum parts for pennies and the only thing left to do when you receive it is to put loctite and thread sizing glue everywhere and you are good to go.

Son i'm disapoint !

The part that was CNC'ed was the injection mold that they use to make the plastic part. That is why it has the "fake" machining marks on the plastic.
