Tail servo update & question

Any update on the tail servos? Any plans for a combo pack?

Hopefully the next week or so...we do not have a definite date. We are in contact with the factory quite often on this and are trying to get them back in stock and out to our dealers and distributors as soon as we possibly can.

As for combo packs...Outrage will not probably offer a "pre-packaged" combo pack of servos (although not out of the question and will be brought up and talked about), although how our dealers and distributors what to sell them is up to them...if they want to make a combo pack up and sell that is something they can do.

i called helidirect today about the status of the recalled servos. they have received them and are shipping now. mine shipped out on 4/20.

I have been waiting like everyone else but I am considering cancelling mine.

Have you guys gotten your tail servos back yet? Still none in stock, I'm a little surprised.

got mine on monday after the local post office lost the package and showed it delivered on saturday. now if curtis would just release the Total G i could finish my fbl protos. im sure the first batch covered the recalled servos. i would however contact helidirect and confirm they are actually out of stock. when i called to check the status of mine they asked me if i wanted another one as they still showed me on the waiting list. its my understanding the recall was due to an issue with the gears on all of them. props to outrage for discovering the issue and correcting it. i think we all know a few companies that would not have absorbed the huge expense of doing it. i have a question. are their any plans to start building these in smaller sizes especially cyclic servos for 450 and 500s.
