My newly acquired and first Mikado - Logo 400 - I put on the FBL head and an AR7200BX. Currently waiting on some servo gears to get back in the air.. Had a brain fart and went inverted in normal mode

Anyways ...

This is my lunch break fleet

The Logo 700 is my favorite to fly... It has all the nice flight characteristics of the other logos...

Brain - Where did you mount your 2S lipo for the servos? Can you post a few pics if you have? Are you using a regulator? If so, which one? Thanks

underneath the frame, I have used 2s Life 1100 to direct to the vbar so no need the regulator, the Life battery is really thin and capable for the futaba Bls servos. I dont have any pic here, but will show you later.

I built a 6s 550 size heli out of a logo600 3d. I love how it flies and I like the beefier 600 head and tail and tail boom over the L500 set up

so logo 500se head isn't that strong as logo 600's? did you shorten the boom? to what size?
have you ever had an align 6s heli? can you compare your logo 6s to it? thanks

this is what i did:

started with L600 3D
cut the tail boom, tail push rod and boom supports to 500se size.
used a 500se belt
used a 25mm motor plate
mod .7 main gear
HKIII-4025-1100km motor
edge FBL 553 mains
kontronic 100LV ESC
Full size V-Bar
L500 canopy
L500 landing skids
for servos i used DS610 and ds650

I had a Trex 550 and this set up is close to that and my Logo 600/550 out flies my Trex 550. Before i got my first logo i had Trex250 all the way to 700, when i got my Logo400 i replaces all my trex`s with logos

If you want a 500 size heli then it will be a Logo 400

excellent! that's what i'm thinking to do, but why did you use a 25mm motor plate and why did you do the .7 main gear mod? thanks

I went with the 25mm motor plate cause the bolt spacing on the 4025 motor is 25mm, the mod .7 cause I needed a 15X tooth count on my main gear to reach the head speed.I wanted

Gravydrive my man,

I'm just at that point where I need to make a decision on wiring options and your setup looks pretty sweet (through the servo deck above boom)! If you have any of those grommets left please let me know - would be happy to give you my FedEx #. What wires are you running through there btw? I'm sure its the tail servo and sensor wires, if so where/how do you bunch up the remaining wires? Please keep in mind I'm a newb.

Thx,

Rob
