OK, I wasn't feeling up to it yesterday so Steven went out to the field and flew with Charley, he got a pull on the N50 and came back home all excited, it was a bit windy and he said it tracked in the wind like it was on a string, big looping circuits were effortless, Piroflips were a blast as this heli balances great. Very fast cyclic response just like the 550, Steven should have his prototype kit by the end of the week.

Charley is not a big fan of a build thread or a bunch of pics or video with the prototype kits while there being tested so just like the 550 I will be waiting until Charley pulls the trigger on the production model. We will report on the build and flights after the kit arrives, this part is always my favorite time and a challange, the G5, 550 and I'm sure the N50 will be the same, I get a picture from Charley and go to town, so you can get a feel for the time and effort that Charley has to put into a manual before the production kits hit the street.

Stay tuned!!!

Same here Clyde, the 550 prototype pictures from myself came out early due to some mix ups between myself & Steve..... the gun got fired a bit early and of course you can't unfire it. This time round the detail pictures will only come from the production kit, as will the build video to go with it.

I expect all of us will probably produce some nice prototype flight videos though and perhaps a few more nice pictures of the model sat with other 50N heli's for comparison

According to Charley, throughout first test flights, some improvements will be made for the heli and new parts are in prototyping now such as heavy duty clutch, dual-bearing engine clutch, adjustable engine mount... Charley will continue to refine these and our pilots will get more kits very soon. Charley is under huge pressure to make this kit the best 50 nitro kit on the market so I doubt he will have much spare time to update the progress. But the kit is still in release schedule around end of June.
