This will be my set up until today:

Gryphon Voltage Regulator(on the way)
Futaba GV-1(on the way) / (no sensor yet)

I just take out the Electronics of my Raptor to used on my new Gasser, I just see how I will set up the Gryphon with the Microbeast and Spektrum RX that is not a problem anymore but now I do not know how the GV-1 will be set up ? I know is with the Stator Gator Sensor but were I can get the right one for the GV-1 and how I Installed ?

Oh. I missed that.

Congratulations.

It is also good that you can use stock 14T pinion with this kit.

I wonder what is the idle-up head speed on 800 size helicopters? If it's like 1650 than the gear ratio will be 8.2.

And the RPM for 1650 HS is 13530. Is it a bit high for G270?

Gasser gurus i am waiting for your input on this one.

Thank You I know this is a BIG bird and for my Sport Flying the Zenoah G270 I believe will be good, but if some day I have some extra cash I will get it back to a 700 sizes with the Boom and 690mm Main blade is chipper from the 800 set up.

Let me see if some one can help me with the GV-1 & Stator Gator set up next I will look for the Throttle Curve for my DX-7, the ones I believe is not like the Nitro Engine

THK lol

We typically use a 7.5 G/R ratio on a gasser with 800+mm blades, spinning at up to 1650 HS.

This puts the motor at 12375, but that's with a stock G260. What's the recommended RPM for a G270?

You don't need sensor if you are using the Gator as it will convert the ignition pulse to feed the gov just like your average sensor with magnet.

Get a tune pipe ASAP as the stock can exhaust do block the cooling system and trap the hot air in the frame that make the tank goes soft and cyclic servos hot, make a shield to stop hot air travel upwards and check your electronics temp in the mean time.

Have fun.
