Default Getting a flysky fs CT-6B to work with Belt CP

Hi all

I am new to to fun world of RC Helis. A guy at work has given me a belt cp with most of it there except

servos, ESC, Rx/Tx

I have purchased all the above and I want to get the new FLysky Tx/Rx configured to work with the Belt CP.

I am having a few difficulties getting the Tx all setup.

I don't suppose one of you has already done this and has a config I can upload to the Tx via T6config???

I suppose a config for any of the 450 4 channel helis would work just as well on the Belt.

All assistance appreciated

Thanks in advance

Hi, and welcome to Belt forum. I wish you had visited us before the purchase of Flysky stuff as nobody here owns it and it's unlikely that anyone will be able to give you any Tx-specific help. The general principles still apply though:
  1. No configuration for 4-ch heli will work, Belt CP is a full fybarred collective pitch helicopter and it needs to be configured on a 6-ch helicopter specific radio, which your Tx seems to be.
  2. You'll need to program the Tx for 3-servo 120° swashplate, and do servo throw and swashplate mix programming to get +/- 9-10° pitch range.
  3. You'll need to calibrate throttle range for the new ESC, for safety with motor disengaged from the main gear. Imagine what could happen with the throttle channel reversed?
I suggest you look up Finless Bob's CCPM setup videos in the main forum and then come back with more specific questions.
