Bought a trex 450 second hand, can I use my futaba t7cp radionics with a fp-r138df receiver. I'm trying to set up the radio but not really getting anyware. Was wondering is it the radio or me

I am using T7C (2.4 GHz) TX and R617F RX. I don't have any problem to setup the radio to control my 250. Setting this radio up for 450 should be very similar. How many channels in R138DF ? You need at least 6 channels RX for 450.

Hi .just assembled 450 .
Have Futaba 6 EX tx and rx
All works with Radio, but soon as I hook up 3 GX it does its on thing.
Any videos on hooking up to 3Gx or any help please.

Holy wow. That was a whole lot of reading.

Big thanks to Finless for yet another series of videos to help us understand the manual and the construction of our beloved helis. I'm currently part way through my 450 Pro build. Servos in, starting on the tail next. Given the shear number of posts regarding tail setup, I'm nervous, but Bob has never let me down before, so I'm sure it'll all work out.

There's always a crap load of junk about the tail on these things. Ignore it.

450 pro fbl 3gx all stock except for tail bearings. The esc stopped beeping but everything seems to be working fine. Should I be concerned?

I'm a complete novice about to start the build of my newly purchased 450 Pro.
After watching the videos, I think I'd be completely lost without them

update: in gyro mode GY, there is, %with A, and %with N, when in %with A Green led on,

You need to set to GY.
A is HH mode. Start with 30%
N is Rate mode.

Im trying to follow Finless Bob's video getting the servos setup up to 90. I connected my battery to the ESC to the RX , but I'm not getting any response.

I cant figure what im doing wrong
Any advice?

Have you bound the receiver to your radio?

Yes, you can start on both mode. But usually, you can set rate mode more than 50%
