Just a short video of my very first inverted autorotation by night (at 1:52). I was pretty nervous watching in HD and fullscreen seems to be the best. only normal flying, nothing special!

Here's my budget attempt on a night rig

It's a 370 sized Esky FP. Just had my first flight in the (almost) dark, just some hovering, which is difficult enough as it is.

Having separate colors on the left and right does help a lot by the way. But it really needs some night blades...

I've got my 520 night blades done, just needing a test flight.

Considering this is a pitch black room, I may have overdone it on the white. Should make landing easy.

The white LED's on the bottom of the blades are one of the best ideas I've ever encountered by any standards. I've got mine set up the same way and it makes landings a breeze.

The canopy and tail fin are powered by their own 1S lipos so they can be easily changed back and forth between my 550 helis.

With the brightness of my main blades I have decided to just order up some glow in the dark decal to wrap the booms. I may also wind up using it to partially wrap the canopy.

Default 800 xxtreme night rig so far

In the process of setting up my Logo 800 xxtreme as a night rig, so far the blades and canopy are complete.

Canopy took over 10hrs work to lay it all out and solder it up, has 6.1m or 366 LED's.

Edge 813 self built night blades with 9 LED's and centrifugal switches so they light up on spool up, they run for 45 mins on a 240mah single cell lipo.

I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.

Wow, that's awesome. Did you make these yourself? If so, do you have any information on how you did it?

Wow, a lot of work went into that! I had a feeling that making a PCB was about the only way that it could be done.

Yay, my first successful night flying heli!

I use rotor tech luminous v2 610 main blades and 95mm edge night tails. I may do away with the blue lights on the canopy and put red or just more green in its place because the blue is not visible in the air with the other colors.

The best part for me is the white led cluster I put on the bottom which lights up my landing zone when landing.

My first 4 flights were quite successful.

Its a Chaos 600 on 6s by the way. With an 800mah 2s pack to run all the lights

Looks great I too have noticed the blue is like a cotton candy cloud. On my LEDs I used a 3s battery with brushed esc on my aux2 channel with my DX7s I can dim, turn off or make them blink it's pretty cool.
