Bought my first plank.
Sunday afternoon as our club fun fly was winding down a was looking at some stuff a guy had for sale and i went home with this.... full equipped Aero Bat with a never run OS .46LA(i know not the greatest engine) and servos for 20 bucks.

Can't beat that for $20! The LA motors aren't the most powerful, but they last forever! I had an OS .65LA for over 10 years and ran like a top.

Everything is setup and ready to go, im thinking it needs a new Rx pack since the one thats in it is an old NiCad 600mah and im not sure how much i trust 600mah to fly for a tank of fuel, will probably solder up a NiMh pack for it. I know its gonna be a fast flier, even with the .46LA in it because its a short stubby symmetrical wing and its a heavier model so its gonna like airspeed. Good thing we have an Eaglet i can start flying. |
