HP is distributer... What they will sell is up to them...

I can get inside Info. I suggested the following pack to GA:

7S 5800mAh, 45c size 145x 50 x 65. Weight Around 990 gram.
They already have 7s 4400mAh wich are 145x50x54 and weigh 820gr. But i think they will be too in capacity... Maybe you guys think otherwise.

ahh i see. Thanks for clarifying. I was gonna order the nanotech 4400 7s because the 5000s were out of stock and some how I ended up buying a set of the TP 5000s RH has in stock right now lol. Will be my first time trying the high end higher cell packs.

What about two 4s and 3s packs to make up the 14s pack? Is there any disadvantage to this setup as you can then get/make 6000mah packs

The other reason I ask is I have Hyperion EOS0610iDUO that can only charge up to 6s so this would be a work around....... Or am I best just to fork out for a new charger?

I use the TP 7s 5000 65C packs and the Thor 7s 5500 45C packs. They both feel the same in the air to me but I can't fly like Kyle

My flight packs are made up of 4s and 3s in series to form a 7s pack. I have been flying these and there are no negative tendencies at all.

I combined the balance leads into a 7s balance plug and use my Hyperion 720i charger to charge them. They balance and charge perfectly a a 7s pack should.

Let me know if you have questions on the setup.

Just to chip in here about gens ace. they will have a b-45c 5500 - 7s1p available soon.
I'm not to sure of the dimensions and weight though.

Got my Xxtreme and maidened it in the weekend! WHAT A WICKED MACHINE!

I have the Thor 5000's and the nano tech aspec 5000 batteries. Both ran much the same with similar amounts of juice left after similar flight times and had similar temperatures post flight.

Would have to say hobby king are very misleading with the aspec photos as they have the 3s and 4s balance plugs the sakes as the standard nano techs. Although I've not used the 7s normal nano techs I do run 6s normal nano techs and for a $40 price different on each battery for the 7s I wouldn't bother paying extra for the aspec in the future. Not to mention I got some smart arse customer service guy who was completely useless, unknowledgable and a complete time waster when I queried their misleading photos (as well as the other issues I had with my order)

Guess what I'm saying is my preference from now on will be to avoid hobby king at all costs and go with other stores even if it means paying more despite their batteries seeming ok thus far.

Dickheads aside I'm just super happy with such an awesome bird!!!!

i have 2 sets of the standard nano 65-130c packs

I'm at 58 flights , so ~27 per pack and there still holding.

There not rock solid like when new , but a thin soft layer (if that makes sense) . Feel soft but when you squeeze there solid underneath. They did this quite early on i might add , but have been great ever since.

timer set to 4:30 pulling 3500-3800mah , flying aggressively with moderate cyclic management skills (lol) packs are down to 3.75v per cell after an auto and short walk back to flight station. Hot days ( ~30 deg C ) do get the packs hotter but still seem unafected by the increase in ambient.

I'll be happy to see 50-75 per pack , these are the cheapies after all.

The HK packs are part of an adventure , some last a long time , some die quick. Hopefully your on the winning end of the stick inthe end. So far i've been doing good and have come out ahead of the game.

Thanks Martin! I have limited experience with the nanos but for the ones that i have bloated just after a few charge. Did u get to measure the peak amps pulled during ur flights?

I will say on the other hand that several of the guys flying the 3300 6s packs aren't having much luck.

Might have been a bad batch ? don't know.

What size packs are most people flying on the 800 nowadays?

It seems like many people are using 7S 5000 mAh packs, but there are fairly light 7S 5500 and 5800 Gens Ace packs with roughly the same weight available.

I've just bought 2 sets of Revolectrix 7S 5000 packs for my Xxtreme.
They are from their Diamond series and are 60C rated.
Looking forward to see how they go.
And they were relatively cheap too.
