Default Cannot resist the temptation of TT Raptor 90 3D

Very nice build thread and photograph's!

I have had one of these for over two years (the 3D).

You will find it to be a very smooth, very easy to fly machine.

I've got the SE version. Kind of boring to me. I'm thinking of getting rid of it because it almost hovers itself. I'm used to my 50 trex's with need constant input or my 450's that you just stay on the sticks. This thing I can relax...WTF? What to do....

Sitting here smiling just remembering the first time I spun it up...not even close to being setup and was a pleasure to fly. Can't wait to get this thing the way I want it and be good enough to really have fun with it.

after this weekend...priceless.

was having problems with the tail holding found it was a problem with the Dip S*&$ that set the tail up. I kept having drift and just couldn't get it to hold in a hover. Problem was the trim, subtrim, and servo arm was off by a notch or two. About 2 minutes of adjustments and all was great.

didn't fly cuz engine started going lean...not much but enough to not want to fly. I'll track that down Friday. Probably just need to tank and gasket, maybe filter.

If you want to know actual price...don't know, got it used. if needed I could figure it out.

I have not flown my Raptor 90 3D for a few months now. The last time I flew it, I had just swapped the CY carbon fiber for KBDD tail blades.

If anything, the tail handled better than with the CF blades, IMHO (and I am a big CY fan)!

Oh, and I am biased!

It flown..!! First impression is though it is heavier than Trex700 and Srimok 90, it actually feels light in the air and agile too. Controls are good. Still need some time to get used to the POWER that a 90 size helicopter produces.

By the way, the Hitec servos are good..!!

It looks great!

I see you did not cut out the area underneath the canopy either. I think it looks better closed.

I put my initials there, inverted on mine.

Also a screw through the canopy at the clip so that it cannot come flying off when going backwards, inverted.

You are correct about the power! It is a very smooth, easy to fly machine.

By the way-outstanding choice of tail rotor blades (KBDD)!
