Default What pinion for 1800rpm?

Assuming a 530KV motor should I use 10t or 11t?

Use an 11T. It is a little over geared but it isn't recommended to run a 10T. It doesn't engage or contact the main gear as much and can be risk for stripping the gear. Also with the 11T it was recommended to not use blades longer than 720. 12T was a minimum for 750+. For the same reason of risking a stripped main gear.

Use an Align pinion. Do not use a lynx pinion. There was some issues with them in the past. It may be fixed but I am not sure.

The Quantum 4135 I'm using isn't an insanely powerful motor though and I run 11 degrees maximum pitch.

You could be ok with the 10T, but as I said, it wasn't recommended. That comes straight from Charley when we were still ALeeS.

Ended up using 11T anyway, toward the end of the pack the governor doesn't have enough head room with the 10T.
