Are there any that will fit without work? Or any elegant ways of making them fit without stretching or breaking the frames? It's annoying as I gather the mikado unit only needs a mm or two.

So you are talking about the FBL unit rather than the head? The only one I know of that should fit easily without modding or widening the frame is the as yet unreleased microbeast - check out the thread in this forum for info. Should be out by the end of this month.
I am intending to install it on my 250 too. Oh, and the align 3g... Whilst it is a lot of kit to stuff in, I have seen people manage somehow... |

You could put them underneath on the frame bottom. Yes, most units miss fitting by "just that much." Rick |

The solution that worked for me was to:
1. MOVE the gyro shelf up into the next set of mounting holes; and 2. mount the GyroBot FaceUp, but UNDERNEATH the raised gyro shelf, covering the faceplate but leaving the connectors readily accessible. This left sufficient clearance to run the 80mm leads to the receiver underneath, and accomodate the servo leads as well. |

There isn't much room to put stuff in that tiny frame. Rick |
