Default 2010 G20 fair price

I have the chance to buy a 2010 g20 that has a modified Wally 21cc motor. There is no electronic. I can get it for $350 is this a good deal? Is there much difference in the new g20?

Stock motor is close to 400$ the last I looked so I would say yes it is a good deal. I took advantage of the free motor offer and my kit alone was still over 600$ with no air filter or muffler. closer to 900$ if I remember right with kit, motor, air filter, and muffler. No electronics.

If the motor and heli are in nice shape it is a very good deal.If the motor has been cooked and the heli abused maybe no so good.As for 2010 it may very well have the small clutch? I am not sure .If you can have them measure the outside diam of the clutch bell we can let you know if it has the large clutch or not.If possible pull the muffler and check the piston from ring to lower skirt for any sign of scuffing (long vertical scratches or metal transfer). Is it a local heli that you know the history of ? If all checks out I would say it is a great deal.
Good luck

It is a local guy that has it. He is an amassing pilot and built this up and said it just does not have the power he likes so he has stayed with the intros because they a lighter. It has not electronics but it seems clean from the picture he had I will see it in person I hope this week. Is the smaller clutch a bad thing? Thanks for the input I have received

The small clutch is not a real bad thing and if it has held up ok to this point I would not worry to much and if you ever need a new clutch just upgrade to the large clutch.Who knows it may have the large clutch already? Good luck ,they are a nice and fun heli that cost zip to fly.
