Not 100% the same as BX V3, since V3 has some extra params (that I've never played with anyway).
Other than that, you set it up exactly the same.
Ran another couple packs through it at lunch and it is nice and locked in again (both tail and cyclics)

Which BX ver do we have in the AR7200BX?

Just got the USB adapter. I presume you can only upgrade the Spektrum part?

U got an original BX?

I believe we have V3 in the AR7200BX. dCH also managed to upgrade his firmware.

I am just comparing the 3D-H with the original AR7200BX

OK, not bad! Only + 2.5 grams vs. stock then!

The MicroHeli ones, which are thin/light, are 23.5 grams = + 10.6 grams

I have just scanned through all pages of this thread for curiosity as this weekend I swapped the motors over on my 130s to determine if the performance went with the motor. Whilst there was a slight change, it was more obvious to me that all the bling and upgrades, inc 450mah packs are adding so much weight that the thrust ratios are reduced.

So, is the real question one of thrust (power) to weight ratio, rather than purely weight ?

For sure, my 300X is run @ 100% throttle with stock powertrain and takes increased collective mgmt at the end of the flight when the HS drops ! I am hoping that 2216 and CC esc with governor deliver enhance thrust to weight and more consistent feel !

IMO it's both actually.

Power to weight indicates the disc loading, which should be as light as possible.

But low total weight makes the heli feel much more nimble (quicker reactions).

Then there's reliability and vibrations for this thing. I've upgraded my 300X as I felt the need to do so. For instance the plastic tail case cracking just from flying, not crashing. And so on...

I've almost finished my Gaui X2 build. This thing is also 300 size but the parts are incredibly much smaller vs. 300X. We'll see about reliability but it goes without saying that it will have dramatically less disc loading

Bumping an old but relevant thread hoping to find weights for the Lynx tail upgrades... case, shaft, lever, slider and hub. Really, any upgrade weights could help this thread out but those are the hot ones on my list. Also interested to hear if they caused any problematic CoG issues.

Not wanting to be a thread mooch, I have come bearing gifts... some already posted but redundant info is not necessarily a bad thing.

Stock main blades: 35.5
Lynx main blades: 36.9
Blade green tail blades: 2.5
Lynx orange tail blades: 1.5
DS76 (no horn): 7.6
5065 (no horn): 11.2
Stock tail hub: 9.5
Stock canopy: 13.5
Fusuno fiberglass canopy: 31.1
CC BEC: 14.7
eFlite battery: 117.2
Pulse battery: 118.2
Stock ESC: 40.8
Talon 35 (no connectors): 24.9
Talon 35 (with ec3 and bullets): 29.9
Hyperion 2213-3585 motor w lynx 14t pinion: 64.5
Stock motor/pinion: 40.2
Lynx OWB main gear assembly w/ bolt: 23.8
Stock main gear assembly w/bolt: 18.6
Lynx main rotor head w/bolt: 5.0
Stock main rotor head w/bolt: 4.8
Lynx v2 swash: 9.3

Yeah, when I noticed this thread got new replies I thought SHY was back! I remember last he mentioned about testing the Tesla. Maybe he got a new toy and new hobby.

Well, once again I am an idiot. Some of these weights are posted on the Lynx site, inconceivable! Just for reference, my weight is 0.15g heavier than theirs for the v2 swash. I assume others are similar.

Anywho...

tail case: 11.85 (with fin and screws)
tail shaft: ???
tail crank lever: 3.6
slider: ???
tail hub: 4.8

Still all ears for the slider and shaft...

Hi guys! I'll soon be back! Just a loooong, cold winter and no 3D. Just indoor RC car racing.

Was 95% decided on a Tesla... but mu wife's parking skills are not up to the job :-D

And summer tires on 21" wheels are NOK 80.000 - no thanks! :-)
